Emma found the dollhouse in her grandmother’s attic, hidden beneath layers of dust. It was beautifully crafted, with tiny furniture, miniature paintings, and even small dolls placed inside each room. Something about it felt… too real.
That night, Emma placed it on her table. As she stared at it, she noticed something strange—the dolls seemed slightly different than before. One had moved closer to the tiny staircase.
She laughed it off, blaming her imagination.
But the next morning, things had changed again.
The dolls were no longer in their original places. One stood at the front door. Another was positioned at a window, as if watching.
A chill ran down Emma’s spine.
Curious and uneasy, she opened the dollhouse to rearrange them. But as she touched one of the dolls, she felt a sudden sharp pain, like a tiny needle piercing her skin.
That night, Emma woke up to faint whispers coming from the dollhouse.
“Play with us…”
Frozen in fear, she turned her head slowly toward it.
The front door of the dollhouse creaked open by itself.
And inside… one doll was missing.
From the corner of her room, Emma heard soft footsteps.
