Ravi was a carpenter who worked late nights in an old workshop at the edge of the village. One evening, while cleaning a dusty storage room, he discovered a pair of strange black carpenter boots beneath a wooden table.
The boots looked brand new despite being covered in dust.
An old worker warned him, “Never wear those boots after midnight.”
Ravi laughed and took them home.
That night, at exactly 3:00 AM, he heard heavy footsteps outside his bedroom.
Thud… thud… thud…
Ravi opened the door.
Nobody was there.
Then he noticed muddy footprints leading from the entrance to his bedroom.
The footprints suddenly stopped beside his bed.
The next morning, Ravi wore the mysterious boots to work. While cutting wood, he heard someone whisper behind him.
“Finish the chair…”
He turned around.
The workshop was empty.
Suddenly, the electric saw switched on by itself.
Ravi dropped the boots and ran outside.
But when he looked down, the boots were already back on his feet.
That night, Ravi discovered an old newspaper hidden inside one boot.
It reported that a carpenter had mysteriously disappeared from the workshop twenty years earlier.
His name was Ravi.
Then the boots began walking toward the dark workshop—without him moving.
