The Terrifying Wolf in the Forest | Was It Really a Wolf? | A Chilling Horror Story

 

Deep inside a dark forest, villagers often heard terrifying howls after midnight. They believed a huge wolf wandered between the trees, but nobody had ever seen it clearly.

One rainy night, Arjun and his friend Sameer entered the forest to investigate.

Suddenly, a deep growl came from behind them.

They turned.

Between the trees stood an enormous black wolf with glowing yellow eyes. Its body was strangely motionless, but its shadow moved independently.

Sameer whispered, “That isn’t a wolf.”

The creature suddenly disappeared.

They ran toward their jeep, but the forest path seemed endless. Then they heard footsteps running beside them.

Arjun looked left.

The wolf was keeping pace between the trees.

When they reached the jeep, Sameer started the engine. Before they could escape, a bloody paw appeared on the windshield.

Then a voice whispered from the back seat, “You finally found me.”

They turned around.

Nobody was there.

The wolf suddenly appeared in the headlights, staring directly at Arjun.

The next morning, villagers found the abandoned jeep deep inside the forest.

There were no footprints except two sets leading into the trees.

One belonged to Arjun.

The other was enormous.

Since then, every midnight, villagers hear Arjun’s voice mixed with a wolf’s howl:

“Was it ever really a wolf?”
