Bhairavpur village had one house everyone feared. It stood beside the old cemetery, covered with vines and surrounded by broken gravestones. Villagers called it the Cemetery House.
One evening, Vikram, a curious traveler, decided to spend the night there.
At midnight, he heard a slow knocking beneath the wooden floor.
Knock… knock… knock…
He moved closer and suddenly heard a woman whisper, “Please open it.”
Vikram searched the room but found nobody. The knocking became louder.
Then the floorboards cracked open.
Below them was a narrow staircase leading underground.
Holding his trembling flashlight, Vikram went down. At the bottom, he discovered a hidden room filled with old photographs of villagers who had died decades ago.
One photograph showed a young woman standing beside the house.
On its back were three words:
“She is still here.”
Suddenly, Vikram heard breathing behind him.
He turned.
The same woman from the photograph stood there, her face pale and her eyes completely black.
“You finally came,” she whispered.
Vikram tried to run, but the staircase had disappeared.
The next morning, villagers found the Cemetery House locked from inside.
Vikram was gone.
That night, a new photograph appeared on the underground wall.
It showed Vikram standing among the dead.
And beneath it was written:
“Another resident has arrived.”
