On the edge of a forgotten village stood an old roadside dhaba that had been abandoned for decades. The villagers warned travelers never to stop there after midnight. They believed the owner, who had mysteriously disappeared years ago, still served his final guests.
One rainy night, Adam's car broke down near the lonely dhaba. Hungry and exhausted, he stepped inside. The place looked strangely alive. Lanterns glowed warmly, delicious food covered the tables, and a smiling old man welcomed him.
As Adam began to eat, he noticed every customer remained completely still. No one blinked. No one spoke.
Suddenly, the old man whispered, "Our guests never leave hungry."
The lights went out.
When they returned, the diners had become skeletal figures with empty eyes. Their plates were filled with ashes instead of food.
Terrified, Adam threw the plate aside and ran into the storm.
At sunrise, he returned with local villagers.
The dhaba had vanished.
Only a broken signboard remained beside the road.
An old villager quietly revealed the truth.
Years ago, the dhaba burned down during a terrible fire, killing everyone inside.
