When Rahul moved into an old apartment, he found a large antique mirror covered with a dusty cloth. The landlord warned him never to remove it, but Rahul ignored the warning.
That night, he uncovered the mirror.
At first, everything looked normal. But when Rahul raised his hand, his reflection didn’t move.
He froze.
The reflection slowly smiled.
Rahul stepped backward, but the figure inside the mirror remained still. Then it raised one finger and pointed behind him.
Rahul turned around.
Nobody was there.
When he looked back, his reflection was standing much closer to the glass.
The next morning, Rahul covered the mirror again. But strange knocking came from behind the cloth.
Knock. Knock. Knock.
A whisper followed.
“Let me out.”
Terrified, Rahul called the landlord.
The old man arrived and immediately went pale.
“You uncovered it?”
Rahul nodded.
The landlord whispered, “That mirror belonged to the previous owner. He disappeared twenty years ago. People say his reflection never left.”
Suddenly, the cloth fell from the mirror by itself.
Rahul looked into the glass.
His reflection was gone.
Instead, an unfamiliar man stood inside, smiling.
Then Rahul heard footsteps behind him.
A voice whispered directly into his ear:
“Now you stay here.”
The mirror cracked.
And Rahul’s reflection appeared inside it—screaming silently.
