At midnight, Arjun was driving through a lonely mountain road when his car suddenly stopped near an abandoned village.
The village looked strangely untouched. Old houses stood beneath the moonlight, their doors slowly moving in the cold wind.
As Arjun searched for help, he saw a young girl standing beside an ancient well.
“Please help me,” she whispered. “I’m lost.”
Arjun asked where she lived.
She pointed toward a broken house at the end of the road.
He followed her, but when he entered the house, the girl had disappeared.
On the dusty wall, Arjun noticed an old photograph.
His blood ran cold.
The photograph showed the same girl standing beside the well.
Underneath it was written:
“Missing since 1987.”
Suddenly, the village bell rang twelve times.
The girl appeared behind him.
“You came back for me,” she whispered.
Arjun ran toward his car, but every road led back to the same well.
Then he saw dozens of people standing silently outside the houses. Their faces were pale, and their eyes followed him.
The girl smiled.
“Everyone who enters this village becomes part of it.”
At sunrise, villagers from a nearby town found Arjun’s abandoned car.
There was no sign of him.
But beside the ancient well stood a new photograph.
It showed Arjun standing next to the girl.
